I too, had been a victim of physical and mental abuse from a boyfriend who almost blew my head off and was never punished. This must stop.

I literally cried while reading this petition it was like reading a chapter out of my own life a lot of bad memories I can never shake and still haunt me I hope you find peace and they put him away I'm gonna pray for you

I knew him since back in 2009 and always knew he was quick to flip a swith. He was a full blown alcoholic/drug abuser. He always had to have his body filled with either alcohol or drugs. Believe me I was no saint at those times, but Brent was and still is an animal in my eyes. I have seen him personally break out in rage over the slightest things when he was drunk. He even tried to fight me a few times. After reading Sarah's story, I clearly pictured it in my head and said yep, he is the same animal I knew back then. He is a threat to society and will continue to do this if he is let out. He needs to be locked up for good like a caged animal. He is a complete con artist and knows how to fool people into believing him.

First I would like to say, God Bless you and your strength.
I am a survivor of DV as well. There has to be more done then the abusers getting slaps on the wrist sentences. Mine got 45days in county jail and 56wks of DV classes and what was a felony dropped to a misdemeanor.

He should not be given another opportunity to abuse or try to kill anymore women this is what our laws are for right to put away people who are this sick and cruel I hope our justice system will do the right thing and do what needs to be done about this man which is being locked up for life
