I remember the Cowan family growing up in Union County. This would be a wonderful tribute to her!

This would be a wonderful way to keep an American Hero recognized for her sacrifice for generations to come.

Please consider this opportunity the cement the name of a public safety officer that was taken far too soon. Let us not forget.

I remember the day that she lost her life on Adams Lane quite vividly. As a relative of a firefighter, I can't think of a better way to honor her memory. We proudly talk about backing up our servicemen/women...let's prove that pride! It's the very least we can do to show our respect and honor her memory.

Respectfully to the other candidates, this is one of the best people that I have ever known, which would make this selection any easy pick

Brenda was a beautiful soul. She was courageous and kindly helped others in so many ways. She was awesome in the kitchen too. We had the pleasure to hear her share wonderful stories while being part of The Big Brother Big Sister program . Our youngest child carries her middle name "Denise" and She will always have a special place in our Family stories and our hearts. She would be honored to have a high school carrying her name ... I can see that beautiful smile now

I believe Fayette County should honor Brenda Cowan's life accomplishments by naming the new high school after her.
