We, the undersigned, demand that the Department of Health:
• provides a permanent full-time specialist breast cancer consultant, not a general surgeon with an interest in breast surgery,
• takes all necessary steps to fully fund that dedicated breast care consultant,
• does not appoint a new general surgeon at the expense of breast care.

This is madness! Breast cancer surgery is so specific. Why are they cutting corners with people's lives?
My mum went through this and we need the best care possible on the island. dont settle for less.
Ridiculous decision by Anderson. We need experts here not people dabbling in it on the side.
90 cases is a lot. stop downgrading our health services!
leave the breast surgeon alone. general surgeons are not specialists!!
