Breast Cancer Screening Program in Rural Africa

In Africa, the number one cause of the high mortality rate from Breast cancer is late detection. Consequently the 5-year survival rate in Africa is only 10% compared to 70% in other parts of the developing world. We are planning to send a portable Breast screening clinic to many of the under-served communities in Africa with some of the world's best female oncologists and medical professionals. This is a time for women to empower each other to fight against this horrific disease that has devastated communities and torn families apart. A program like this could save thousands of lives and raise a global awareness of breast cancer. If you would like to support this project, please sign this petition. I only need 10,000 signatures.
