Breast Cancer Survivors want change to new shocking policy

Absolutely unacceptable!

Do you have any idea of the expense of a cancer diagnosis? Not only physically and mentally but financially? Please be humane and consider women don't need more stress or angst while undergoing cancer treatments.

How can this be taken out of vulnerable people, disgraceful!!!!

These changes would be devastating for a lot of cancer patients. How could it even be considered?

These items are not a luxury for people who are battling cancer. They are a necessity for their self esteem during a horrible soul destroying period.

I am a breast cancer survivor myself

Unbelievable that we have to sign petitions to force the government to ensure women are provided with essential items such as breast prosthesis, women who have been through cancer, & are at their sickest and lowest points. The HSE & the Government need to get their heads out if their arses, and tend to the needs of the sick & vulnerable in our society. Shame on you.

Just not fair

As a fitter for many years, please don't make us go back to seeing ladies use their children's soft toys to fill their bras because they can't afford to supplement this ridiculous offering.

Breast cancer is not something women go out and pay for. So why should they have to pay for what is taken from them through cancer. Respect
