Should be ashamed...heroin addicts are supplied FREE methadone while cancer patients/survivors are snubbed...where's the sense??

As a breast cancer survivor, I know first hand how difficult it is to go through a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments .. the shock, the uncertainty, the fear. Your life and your future has been threatened and you are at your most vulnerable ... you need all the support you can get - medically, physically, emotionally and financially.. there are huge ongoing hidden costs for cancer patients .. these changes are outrageous .... they will restrict access to specialised bras, breast forms and wigs for women who have undergone mastectomies, breast conservation surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotheraphy.. these products play an essential role in helping women recover their self esteem and self confidence during and after the trauma of breast surgery and harsh treatments - they go a long way in helping us to feel 'normal' in times when it seems that normality belongs to other people only. These changes are the lowest of the low

No woman who has been through cancer should also have to face more financial worries. Maybe if you cutback on the ministerial pensions you could allow these women their dignity

My mum is a breast cancer survivor. The horror of surgery and the chemo/treatment for months after surgery is just awful, without having this added. Shame on our HSE/government
