Step into my shoes and tell me they are a luxury item! You haven't a clue of the reality people have to face everyday after such a diagnosis, treatments and surgeries. Disgraceful !

Losing your hair can be as traumatic as losing your breast if not more. I'm deeply saddened at the thought of taking this away from patients

I find this change in allowance to breast cancer women to be very unfair, life with this disease is hard enough (i should know, im living with it as a patient for nearly 12years) without being penalised for what I see as a necessity.

Im a breast cance survivor and its not an easy journey as all cancer patients will understand we worry about the quality of our life after cancer and worry about it reaccuring politicians have no problem getting high pay rises let them try deal with living with cancer you are out of work going thru chemo and if thats not enough some of us need surgery to remove one or both of our breast some of us have other under lying medical conditions I know I can't afford any more expense I think we have gone thru enough I would like a politician to come and try knocking on my door next time they need votes

Apart from dealing with a cancer diagnosis, telling my children I've cancer, going through surgery, chemo & radiation was tough both mentally & physically. I didn't think that I would have to fight for a prosthesis and/or wig as well. The one bit of dignity that a cancer patient has to look forward to after everything, is now being charged for. I cannot understand the greed behind this.
