I urge you to support my petition to raise suicide awareness and promote mental health education in our communities. Suicide remains a leading cause of death worldwide, yet it is often misunderstood or stigmatized. Kat was someone who was overlooked and failed by most of those around her, I want to do this in her memory and in memory of others just like her who feel/felt as alone as she did.

The goal here is to get a memorial painted on the outside of the School Of The Arts building at 45 Prince Street.

The memorial in question being yellow flowers along the front of the building facing prince street, leading onto the side facing University.

By signing this petition, you help advocate for those with no voice, open conversations about emotional well-being, and the memory of children everywhere who chose suicide. Every signature is a step toward breaking the silence, offering hope, and saving lives. Together, we can create a more compassionate and informed society where no one has to suffer alone.

Updates

April 30, 2025

The current level of engagement has prompted a formal request for a meeting with the administration at the School of the Arts to discuss the proposed mural. I am now preparing the design renderings and the budget documentation required to move this project into the planning phase.
