Stopping human trafficking is important to not only you but to the world as well. As is stated in the Declaration of Human Rights, article 4, 'No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.' and also article 5, 'No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.' What are we doing to the 2.4 million people who are raped and scarred, Their lives are taken away, day by day and year by year? Hope is infectious, to stop the problem we will yell with our own voices to Julie Bishop, to help us change the basis on which the lives of fellow humans are tainted and trampled upon. The problem is that despite our "laws" and the declarations there are people being claimed by sexual exploitation, their lives apparently worth nothing, they are calling for help, screaming for it onto deaf ears, and we will hear their cries, and respond tenfold.

There are some lessons that human traffickers simply refuse to learn from our past. We lose our own humanity when we rob others of their freedom..

Its honestly disgusting that this is still happening in this day and age. How are we not doing more to stop it?
