Not just TX, but also in MN. Made payments for several properties in one return envelope. Only one payment was processed through what sounds like an automated process. I've been doing this for a long time to save on postage. The current results are a final service notices that was date July 21 and only arrive on August 1. Follow-ups from Center Point Energy have not been the greatest. Currently in resolution, only because I was forced to submit new payments and avoid service interruption and reconnection fees. Like the cell phone companies, if I could find new service I would. Unfortunately, this Monopoly prevents me from having this option. I've been a loyal customer since 2003. Basically they have the power to do what they want since most of our heating up north is dependent on Natural Gas.
Not happy with Center Point Energy. Whom ever set this up, Thank you.

This is crazy, several power outages per week. I feel like I'm living in a 3rd world country. I need a generator constantly to efficiently work from home. This is monopoly and it needs to stop.

IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT ONE COMPANY GETS TO CONTROL ALL NATURAL GAS! THEN THEY TURN OFF AT A DROP OF A HAT AND WILL NOT TURN BACK ON UNTIL YOU PAY FEES THAT ARE MORE THAN YOUR MONTHLY BILL!!!!!!!
