Brandon can definitely use a liquor store instead of having to drive across town just to get a bottle of decent wine

People are going to buy liquor anyway, so why not keep the revenue in the city? The arguments that were against selling liquor by the glass are the same arguments now. A liquor store will not turn someone into an alcoholic. A liquor store will not increase the incidents of drunk driving.

Thank you for your consideration of this request! I feel if implemented the right way this would be a positive move towards the growth of Brandon.

If your going to allow restaurants to have a full bar, then logically you would allow a liquor store. Why give hinds county our money?

No sense driving out of town or giving our money to other areas.

I work two jobs in Brandon and live in Pearl. I would much rather go to a package store in Brandon rather than have to cross the river.

I fully support this! I am so tired of Brandon whining about city finances and then forcing us to spend our money in another city’s tax zone.
