Court 1 is next to the Deuce where many gather to have a drink, lunch, schmooze and watch tennis. Pickleball is noisy and not the sport of most tennis members. The club already took away court 15 which is near popular tennis courts and is noisy. Court 1 wind screens are not a welcoming environment. An additional pickleball court should go up to court 18 where it is private and away from the noise of pickleball. The kids programs already takes up many prime tennis courts. Please do not leave court 1 as a pickleball court.

I’d move pickle ball court up courts 14-16

Court 1 is our premiere court, and adds to the overall atmosphere of our club. The noise level alone would have a negative impact on all tennis members.

Personally, I am fine with there being Pickleball at Braemar, love it. I just don't believe it should be on the front courts for all of the reasons stated in the current comments - also, Crespi does tournaments there and not having access to that court would be a mess. Anyway, those are my two cents...

Pickel ball does have a place but NOT on court 1. The upper courts would make a lot more sense. Last time I checked we were still a Tennis Club

This is crazy. The noise is extremely distracting. If you want to take away a court, take away 17 or 18, which are not properly aligned anyway.

Tennis is the primary racquet sport at Braemar. We have a hard enough time getting courts as it is. If you want to add PB courts. Make the upper courts 15, 16, 17, 18. We can’t play tennis up there as the courts slope at the back of each court and they are very dangerous to run on. With Pickle Ball you don’t need that space.

Leave it as a tennis court and create a desirable atmosphere at Deuce during the weekends, at minimum. Open the grill and the bar. Don't price gouge your members with $22 margaritas and make the area something members look forward to spending their weekends at.

I’m not against pickleball, but I do believe that if braemar is going to be the “premier” racquet center they say to be, then they should have their own section(s) between courts 14-18. I know at the end of the day, clubcorps goal is the money and bottom line and they say tennis doesn’t bring it in. Maybe if there were better options and if the Deuce deck would be open more and during USTA, it would generate more income. In addition to better clinic offerings promoted for tennis.

Nope. Not on board, and I play pickleball as well as tennis but the game is too loud to be so close to Deuce! Also, many of the USTA matches are on that court which makes it easy for people to watch a match.

Leave court 1 as tennis court. Leave front courts as tennis courts. Don't convert court 1 or any front court to pickleball.

I would like court 1 converted back to a tennis court. Please take out the pickleball court. It’s disrupting the beauty of the tennis grounds and the hallow noise of the pickleball in play is distracting. Thank you!

In most mornings there are not enough courts for tennis. Perhaps the club should convert some of the remote grassy golf area into pickle ball courts.

It's already hard enough to get a tennis court at peak hours, this makes it even harder. And I'm someone who likes/plays pickleball. But it's not fair to those of us who are loyal and longtime tennis members.

Court 1 should be for tennis only.
