With 2 kids on the Edina Nordic Team, our family values this proposal very much. Nordic is a great sport and this would be a big step to improve the Edina Nordic Team!

Please vote yes for the Braemer Park Winter recreation proposal. This will be utilized by so many for years to come and having a park in the metropolitan area is needed for exercise and being close to nature. For those who live out in rural MN, it will provide another place to visit to be outdoors.

I would love to be able to ski on trails all season, with snowmaking, at Braemar. Trails at Hyland are very crowded, as are trails at Theodore Wirth. Wirth is expanding because those trails are so popular/busy. Like all trails, they are busiest evening and weekends, when I have time to go. My friends and I would use a Braemar trail 50+times per season. Thanks for your support.

Nordic skiing is a fantastic sport for so many reasons: Minnesota heritage, athleticism, fitness, and enjoying the natural outdoors. It's also great for the whole family and it's a life-long activity. We need to support Nordic skiing in as many ways as we can and these trails would be a great asset for our community.
