This is something the city of Edina and the greater metro area could greatly use. It promotes a lifelong sport that is so heathy and supportive of our great winters in MN!

As a resident a few miles north of this, I would love to see this addition to Edina. It would be a closer place to ski than driving to Hyland or Elm Creek. Nordic skiing is a lifelong sport as well, so it has major lifelong benefits for those that get into it. Amenities like this help make a community stand out as well raising the standard of living even further for Edina. With obesity being a problem among our society, we need more places like this.

I love braemer, and know it would make a world class nordic ski course. As a resident of Minnetonka, there a few option for skiers in this part of the metro. Having a top knotch facility like braemar available would definitely have me voting with my wallet.

I am a coach with the Edina High Cross Country Ski Team. This would be a huge asset to the team- especially since the school expansion and the appropriation of a considerable amount of the present trail for a paved trail will make it nearly impossible for the team to have meaningful, affordable practice.

We need to build our winter recreation opportunities in all of our communities. This is for the health and well being of our children. There is plenty of research to support how important being outside is for children (and adults). We live in MN and need to embrace winter!

Snowmaking is such an asset for any trail system. I will be so jeolous of all the amenaties that Edina has, but look forward to making the trip up to visit them.
