Urgently needs policing

Terrible driving.going through red traffic lights

Before someone is killed by these lawless taxis who just don't care about the law!

This is a crazy robot. Has never worked. Someone is going to get killed by the way the taxis drive. Poles are my suggestion, from IY circle to riding school

The light is a disaster and it’s a miracle no one has been killed or seriously harmed. 1. Cars and taxis running the light at speed 2. Using turning lanes for high speed passes and cutting traffic. 3. Using sales hire parking lot as a shortcut or way to skip red light. 4. Poor sequencing of lights at high traffic times leading to bad traffic. Not sure what the solution is but the current situation is far too dangerous.

This is a disaster in the making, something has to be done!

Some kind of controls need to be implemented to prevent motorists skipping red lights and jumping traffic queues. Or people will die like in Durban recently. May I suggest a circle could work better? With controlled lanes for left/right turns.

A child will be killed at this intersection at some point if action isn't taken. Otherwise, citizens will take the law into their own hands which could lead to armed clashes between taxi drivers and citizens.

The taxis don’t care about this traffic light and do just as they please- almost causing fatal accidents- red robot means fokol to these criminals- why is there no action taken

This is a disaster of a robot, complete lawlessness from the taxi drivers who ignore the red light and drive through without looking. The robot it at a school so there are young children who are at the mercy of these drives. Apart from that, the robot just did not work for this area. Traffic backs up for a km every afternoon and during school drop and collection times. My suggestion is to remove the robot and replace it with a circle. There is enough space to do this and also to put poles in the middle of the road from the police station circle down to this new circle and further along as far as the Horse Riding centre. Please help us save lives!!

Saw 3 taxis use the other lane not to turn into penzance but jump the queue - this was yesterday.

There needs to be a permanent camera on this light. Taxis often do 80km/h plus through the red light. Also the timing on the light is bad. Often it is set to be green for the side roads and it has a very long double red which causes major congestion and frustration that leads to more dangerous driving. Thanks

I have witnessed such close calls of serious possible accidents. It's about time something is done...
