We need immediate action please!

There will be a serious accident if nothing is done soon!!

The intersection is very dangerous and a child is going to get hurt.

Remove the traffic lights and make a circle, which is what should have been done in the first place.

Please can something be done. Taxis race through the red lights all the time. When turning out of Payne on a green light you have to edge out really carefully because of taxis driving in the middle ‘turning lane’ straight through. Kids cross at those traffic lights all the time, to and from the school. I’m too scared to turn right up Payne at those lights at night because I’ve had taxis drive at me as they overtake traffic waiting at the lights then have to cut in to get ahead. Please let their not have to be a fatality before something is done.

Ridiculous amount of people jumping red lights right in front of a school entrance and many pedestrians. Let’s get something in place before it is too late for someone.

I have 3 daughters at the International School and it scares me the way the taxis flaunt the law at the junction outside. The kids are not safe to cross the road and the way the taxis ( both Quantum and Small Tazz ) run red lights or overtake to go straight on using the right hand filter concerns me with myself or my wife coming out of the school in the car. A matter of a few hundred yards from the police station it is scary that they would act with such low regard for the law or human life.

The lawlessness caused predominantly by taxis at this intersection is shameful and atrocious, many accidents have already occurred and the taxi drivers take absolutely no responsibility for their lawlessness

The traffic lights cause huge delays on the Main road, and too many taxis ignore the red light causing many a near-accident

The City needs to stop the taxis from doing as they please on the roads. This particular intersection is an fatal accident waiting to happen.

Vehicles regularly ignore the red traffic lights and taxis use the 'turning lane' to overtake the cars in the traffic lane on the left.

The complete disregard for basic rules of the road and other people’s saftey. It happens daily where taxis with complete ignorance and blatant disregard for anyone but themselves. This is an urgent problem that needs immediate action. These drivers both private and taxis need to be held accountable.

Trying to enforce the law is never going to work unless they impound and then crush all offending taxi vehicles. The traffic lights need to removed from this intersection

Laws of the road are not properly adhered to in most of Hout Bay. Lawless taxi drivers need to be monitored to keep our roads safe. Drivers are taking their own needs only into consideration and this is where accidents occur
