The following petition aims to gain equal artistic representation on DeviantArt for works of art which contain subject matter that is censored unjustly and unfairly, not because of violations of the ToS/Guidelines, but because the content is homoerotic in nature. Signers of the petition believe that DeviantArt supports and encourages malignant and pernicious censorship of artwork because it depicts homosexual males in acts that do not violate the current ToS (or violates the ToS simply because a penis is shown in an erectile state, despite the fact that the vagina and clitoris may be fully exposed and even wet). In so doing, DeviantArt is directly asserting that they do not believe art that includes homosexuals or homoerotica is indeed art simply because of the homosexuality. Signers of the petition have given their signature in support of a movement to reverse or change policy to gain equal representation for artists who produce works of homosexually-charged artwork (because lesbians are currently widely entertained on DeviantArt) and to support equality for the GLBT community at large.
