TO: Roger Goodell and the Owners of NFL Teams FROM: NFL Fans Everywhere DATE: September 25, 2012 RE: Lockout of the NFL Referees, Blown Calls impacting games and MONEY NFL Fans around the world are making a statement regarding your deliberate attempt to end the National Football League as we know it. The blatant wrong call at the end of the Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers game is by far the most disruptive call of the 2012 season. The fact that you refuse to acknowledge the severity of this issue is clear with your ruling to uphold the wrong call. Fans, experts, and NFL players everywhere have viewed the same film you have viewed with a very different outcome. We can’t all be wrong. The integrity of the NFL is now left hanging in the balance. From today until the end of the referee lockout you will experience a sting. The sting of NFL fans from around the world refusing to buy into your idea of this 2012 NFL season with inexperienced, under educated, part-time referees. • We will not watch any NFL games until this is resolved. • We will not purchase any NFL merchandise until this is resolved. • We will not in any way support the NFL monetarily until this is resolved. • We will not sit idly by and wait for your greed to subside.
