Though some may see these commercials as comedic, depictions like these of any race cannot be tolerated. This is an especially important issue to stand up against because it is one of the few portrayals of South Asians in the media.
The objective of this petition is to collect signatures of individuals who wish to express there displeasure with Metro PCS by pledging to boycott their products and services, and to stand in solidarity against this type of media marginalization.

They have cut me off today I'm completely out of money because of covid-19. Metro pc does not care about those who are devastated by this disaster. Ship is sinking and they are just going to watch my and thousands of people fall by the he wayside. If I make through the first thing I am goibg to do is let the as many people know how despicable this to the American people. I'm boycotting and try and get a petition going.
Their advertisement “rap” I just heard on the radio was so unimaginably annoying that it literally inspired me to find some sort of petition against metro PCS online and sign it, so here I am. I don’t even know what I’m necessarily signing I just know I now hate Metro PCS

This company is racist and they dont care about peoples in need because of covid19, I have 6 friends that lost their jobs and now they dont have money to pay for metro pcs monthly bill and they just cut their services, I think peoples needs to be together in this situation and not only for money and money, like metro, this is my last month with metro and lots of friends will do the same thing, please tell your friends about this boicot, thanks.
