Stoppa upphandlingen, låt inte folkrättsförbrytare vakta våra skolor!
Malmö kommun anlitar det multinationella företaget G4S för bevakning av skolor, förskolor, vårdboenden och andra offentliga inrättningar. Samtidigt är G4S inblandade i en rad folkrättsbrott i Palestina. De utrustar Israels militära vägspärrar och kontrollstationer vid den olagliga muren på Västbanken, där palestinier trakasseras dagligen. De utför väpnad bevakning i israeliska bosättningar på ockuperad mark, levererar utrustning till israeliska polisstationer och fängelser där politiska fångar enligt flera människorättsorganisationer misshandlas och torteras, och framhäver i sin reklam att deras produkter användes av den israeliska militären under dess massaker på mer än 1400 Gazabor 2008-2009.
Vi kräver att Malmös kommunpolitiker inte förnyar avtalet med G4S när det löper ut i 2014. Inget kommunalt samröre med och inga skattepengar till företag som är inblandade i brottslig verksamhet!

Malmö municipality uses the multinational company G4S for coverage of schools, kindergartens, nursing homes and other public facilities. Meanwhile, G4S is involved in a number of crimes under international law in Palestine. The company equips Israeli military roadblocks and checkpoints in the illegal wall in the West Bank, where Palestinians are harassed daily. They carry out an armed guard in Israeli settlements on occupied lands, supplying equipment to the Israeli police stations and prisons where political prisoners, according to several human rights organizations, beaten and tortured, and emphasize in their advertising that their products were used by the Israeli military during the massacre of more than 1,400 Palestinians in Gaza war in 2008 -2009.
We demand that Malmö'smunicipalitypoliticians do not renew the contract with G4S when it expires in 2014. No municipal involvement with, and no tax money to companies that are involved in criminal activities!

The feedback from local families has been heavy to process but it confirms exactly why this fight matters. I have been spending my nights drafting formal follow-ups to the municipal offices because the silence from the leadership is getting harder to ignore.

Reaching this point has been a long and draining road. Seeing this level of engagement reminds me why we started this fight against the contract despite the silence from the people in charge.

Det är helt sjukt att våra skattepengar går till ett sånt företag. Bryt kontraktet direkt!
Pinsamt för Malmö stad. Vi kan inte ha ett företag som hjälper till att förtrycka folk som vakter i våra barnskolor.
