Utterly disgusting that they are even thinking of doing this after the chaos it has caused to so many american family where fracking has been allowed. Shame on all who benefit from this.

Too risky. Government ought to prefer to switch to renewable energy and avoid any possible danger of damage to the environment or pollution of the water.

If planet Earth was a human, Third Energy and all the other penetrative, polluting, fossil fuel extraction industries would be standing accused of rape.

Fracking has been shown to be dangerous to the environment and human health and unnecessary in many countries where safer forms of energy generation such as solar, wind and tidal are much more beneficial.

This was banned in this country for a reason and to me this is as much of a danger to our life a living to Chernobyl.

You do not have the human right to do this. Every drop of water should be preserved in its pure state for humans and animals, birdlife, plantlife and not spoiled by this hideous process. :( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-202817/UK-gets-water-shortage-warning.html

This is foolish beyond belief. Too much risk involved .. and lets face it if massive amounts if profits could not be made then it would no company would be interested. This is not way forward as only renewables can supply energy for future generations. So why risk out health and out countryside for greed?

We should be moving away from dirty energy. The long term consequences of fracking could be catastrophic. The world, especially Yorkshire- is too beautiful & precious to destroy

I follow people such as Erin brockovich who campaign against the lies corporations tell the public about chemicals getting in our drinking water. Franking is a political death sentence and the impact is debating for not only the flora and fauna but the lives of UK citizens and the tax payers you represent. The people will fight this everywhere it's promoted.

It is disgraceful that Third Energy are allowed to pollute our planet and to scar the landscape of North Yorkshire; put people and the environment before profit please.
A disraceful decision that must be reversed.
