Yes It should be allowed to use cell phones in schools as if there is any emergency case parents can easily inform their children. It should not be allowed to use during lectures but during break it should be allowed. And it also helps after school time as if the children have any transport problem they can inform their parents. Other than this if they have to stay at school after the school time is over for any type of preparation they can inform their parents. but there is some schools that let phones in because of the safety reasons. and In today's world there is a lot of progress in the tecnology about the mobile phones. AS the computer's, now mobile's retated sholud be also taught to the students and should made thm aware about its bad and good effects. I think that the students should be allowed to bring cell phones as long as they don't disrupt class or distract themselves and not pay attention due to the phone, if that happens the teachers can just confiscate it and tell that particular student that he/she may not be able to bring a cellphone to school. I think students should have the right of bringing a cellphone to school because its theirs. They have responsibility. if they dont cause trouble with it i think they should be allowed because also it is really convenient for emergencies and also the school phones might be out or they might not have access to one so it think bringing a cell phone is handy also you could use it to help for your classes like a calculator or as a flashlight. Therefore cellphones should be allowed.

I’m moving out of raffles soon but at this point and time, simple thing such as a cellphone is an important tool in our daily life’s, whether an academic or whoever the hell runs the rules wants to believe it. They might not want to accept it but it’s the truth, there’s no changing it, you either adapt or die, so does raffles wanna fail as a school? The choice is theirs honestly. Time for change of the old

i talked to some KG students about their phone rules and they have a huge phone pocket in every class (just ask a kg teacher to send a pic if you want to see it). The way their phone system works is everytime class starts, they have to put their phones in the pocket and the student’s number is written on the pocket so the teacher can check which students has (not) put their phones in the pocket. Every break, they would be allowed to take their phones back from the pocket. This method is really good as not only it prevents students from unnecessarily using their phones in class time, it also allows them to be able to GoJek or Call their parents in times of emergency. Please consider this rather than banning our phones.
