In this age of money being the #1 factor in dictating action, I do feel that not supporting the Government of DR through tourism can be effective. I feel guilty that I didn't educate myself more of these policies to come Before I visited there for a wedding last month. Although, I support the couple who married, the choice of country and the country's actions of how they're now treating my fellow Haitian's would've changed my mind about going. I will not go back until major changes are made.

If they don't want Haitians in DR, Haitian-Americans like myself should never support them by vacationing in that country.

If only it wasn't inhumane then I'd say maybe the US should deport all dominican immigrants and see how they'd feel about it
