Very disappointed with such a vile and repugnant display of hatred. It is fine to disagree with someone else’s beliefs, but this was absolutely pathetic. I have disagreed with many presidents, but I have also respected the electoral process, the office, and rights of others to vote for the leader of their choice. Mr. De Niro and many others in the entertainment industry respects neither, not even their viewers. The same people that pay to see their movies, they offend with their loathsome antics. I am so happy so many feel the way I do. I have deleted all his films along with all the presidents non supporters. These people are angry and should stick to acting instead of being activists. He should know his place and yet he presumes to know better than the American people, of whom he knows nothing of because he lives in an ivory tower. I petition his movies from now on since he took an opportunity at Tony Awards to disgrace the President if U.S. He was in no way in any political talk with Trump or had been in any discussion with President Trump or his administration regarding any governmental issues that he could stand before thousands of people & be so foul mouthed. The awards are about the musical productions that have been nominated for award not about Robert De Nero’s personal beliefs about a President.
