Boycott racist Trenchtown Restaurant
We as South Africans have fought long and hard for racial equality which was only achieved in 1994 after the abolishment of the Apartheid regime. Human rights were only applicable to one race(white) and all who did not have this skin colour suffered a great deal. Our government has done its fair share in rectifying the unjust laws that segregated races in South Africa. We as the people and voice of South Africa are still fighting a daily battle to ensure that not one person would ever feel discriminated against based on their skin colour ever again. Alas, not all people want to be part of the transformation from oppressive regime to a truly democratic government which views all people as equal.
Trenchttown Restaurant in Observatory, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa are facilitating an event that is not just blatantly racist, but also discriminatory against any sexual orientation that is not straight.

We need to let them know that being openly racist, discriminatory and sexist is NOT okay. All people should be equal. Be you white, black, straight, gay, transgender, whatever you like to be you can be. No one has the right to tell you you have LESS rights than any other person.
