Nintendo is wrong for how they are treating their consumers. I've been a Nintendo kid all my life and I have always felt that Nintendo cared about me as a consumer, But this is too far.The most recent wave of amiibo pre orders ( wave 4 amiibos ) sold out in less than 3 hours and then people go on to sell them for 4 times there original price on eBay and other sites. I 'm done! It's so oxymoronic that a company that less than a year ago had less than 7 million units of there console sold, which had been out for almost 3 years. Now they're up to right under 10 million units sold of the Wii u and they're not even making enough amiibos to sell to the people who own their console.Don't get me wrong I understand that things sell out, but take the I phone for example of something that is all ways in high demand when it comes out. they don't sell out of new I phones with some mystery of if they'll sell more new I phones.Of course they will because people want to buy it. Peoplewant to buy amiibos so why is there this mystery of if Nintendo will sell more of the amiibos people want.Furthermore I understand the idea of limited edition but Nintendo should say what amiibo will be limited edition when they announce the wave, and never should a whole wave of amiibos be limited edition. It makes no sense that now because wave 4 of amiibo pre orders are sold out that there is a chance that Super Smash Bros amiibos and Splatoon amiibos ( a new Nintendo IP ) may not be made again. Espically in the case of Splatoon which has content to the game locked behind purchasing the Splatoon amiibos, but the locked content is not accessible any other way, than by purchasing the amiibos they are not mass producing enough to sell. I believe Nintendos way of selling amiibos is inequitable to the people that want to purchase this Nintendo product. I feel that the community should Boycott Purchasing Nintendo Amiibos ( I for one will ) until Nintendo changes their practices of selling them.
