Beyonce has just signed a $50,000,000.00 contract to be the spokesperson for Pepsi Co. a company that was the third largest contributor to the No on Prop 37 campaign. Proposition 37 in California would have simply forced food manufacturers to label their products if they contained genetically modified ingredients. There are a wealth of studies showing how dangerous GMOs can be, to include a recent study that showed rats and mice literally dragging their tumors because they were too large to allow the animals to walk correctly!
Pepsi Co. donated $2,145,400.00 to defeat proposition 37 in California (Monsanto and DuPont were the only higher contributors to this No on Prop 37 campaign, making Pepsi Co the number one contributor not actively involved in the production of GMOs)
Let Pepsi Co. and Beyonce know that a company that supports a campaign of misinformation and one that deliberately undermines the chance to allow consumers to make their own choices is NOT a company that anyone should support, much less work to promote.
