Television shows such as this puerile garbage is definitely a sign of the fall of the Republic. The Romans towards the end had a definite love of spectacle.

The show is bad enough that I choose not to watch it, but I still have to endure the commercials with the disgusting sound effects while I'm watching other TLC shows. I'm about ready to stop watching TLC altogether!!!
