So I'm sure by now we all may have been made aware of James Charles' racist tweet that he made a few days ago, about his trip to Africa resulting in him contracting the Ebola virus. We are also aware of Cover Girl nonchalant response to his behaviour and decision to not severe ties with him as a brand embassador. This is alot bigger than that one tweet, seeing that this is not his 1st, 2nd or 3rd racist tweet. This is about taking a stand for the right thing to be done, and making it known that is is not ok for these beauty influencers to say and do whatever they want and getting away with it, and for these companies to know that it is not ok to over look them and not care about how it makes us their consumers feel. At the end of the day, we are the ones who keep money in their pockets/bank acoounts, and keep their businesses running. WE DESERVE MORE, from a brand who claims to have respect for all and to be all inclusive.

Cover girl needs to hold James accountable for his recent and past racist offenses instead of defending him and turning the other way. He is a face of your company, which means that he speaks and represents you as a whole. This is unacceptable.

We have ALL opened mouth and inserted foot at one time or another. I believe COVERGIRL as a company should be boycotted.
It's really sad that Covergirl would choose to profit off of a teenager that is CLEARLY confused about HIS gender.
