STOP MESSING WITH THE DAM. The river is fine the way it is. Tired of my tax money going to stuff nobody asked for.
This whole plan is a joke. They dont care about the fish habitat one bit. Just want their fancy kayak course.
Fishermen were here first. Why ruin a perfectly good river for a bunch of weekend hobbyists in plastic boats?
gonna be a mess when someone gets hurt because they dont know how to handle the current. leave the rapids alone

AKA Riverman. I believe the dam removal project to be the biggest idiotic idea Grand Rapids has ever considered pushing past the objections of so-many citizens of the city, who believe the project to be a complete waste, without considering the dangers such changes may potentially bring upon those who use it for the beautiful thing it already is...a wonderful fishery! Leave it alone!!!
