I have been staring at the route map for hours and it just feels wrong to see everything changing so fast when the history is what actually matters. People keep messaging me with their own memories of the race and honestly it makes my head spin how much this means to everyone who remembers the old days.

I honestly never thought so many people felt this strongly about how things are changing and it really makes me wonder if they have any idea how much this matters. Seeing all these people show up makes the whole thing feel real suddenly (which is a bit overwhelming if I am being honest) but we really do need to keep this energy moving forward because the history is worth fighting for.

Belachelijk dat ze hier aan zitten. De Ronde hoort op de oude wegen
Alles moet tegenwoordig veranderen voor het geld maar de traditie gaat kapot zo. Heel jammer.

Ze snappen er niks van in Brussel. De Ronde is cultuur en geen pretpark.
