Bowmanville Friends Against RT4 Zoning

This is in no way good for our community. Please no oversized ginormous buildings.

I have lived in this neighborhood for over 50 yrs please don’t ruin it with big buildings.

Stop this zoning change request in Bomanville!!! No way too big!!

My children go to school at Chappell and we play in Winnemac Park. Please no giant box buildings.

I'm opposed to this I've lived in the neighborhood for 12 years and it should remain as it is.

This is the last thing this neighborhood needs. Please help preserve the character of Bowmanville and deny this zoning change

Please don't spoil our beautiful Bowmanville.

I have lived in Bowmanville around the corner from this proposed building for almost 20 years, and I STRONGLY oppose changing the zoning in Bowmanville to allow buildings like these to be developed. Our neighborhood will lose a lot of its charm if developers are allowed to build giant structures, not to mention parking has become harder to find and traffic in the area has increased over the last couple of years. Thie size and scope of this property doesn’t belong in Bowmnville. This is a slippery slope which will change the character of this neighrberhood for the worse. I can’t see how this benefits anyone in the neighborhood besides the developer.

This will create traffic and parking headaches for everyone on that block (including me). The building will stand out like a sore thumb and ruin the character of my neighborhood. There is simply no good reason to approve this zoning change. If the developer is unwilling to work within the current zoning restrictions, then they should find somewhere else to build or modify their proposal to fit.

This is horrible. I have lived a half block away for 20 years. Keep Bowmanville the way it is. We don't need another neighborhood ruined because of greed.

Keep the character of Bowmanville intact! There is no need to change the zoning for those lots.

The majority of Bowmanville is zoned RS-3. There is no need for rezoning this lot aside from Developer profits. This block is mostly multi-unit dwellings but they are all zoned RS-3 (aside from the buildings on Damen), so there is no reason that whoever develops that parcel can't build a multi-unit dwelling that conforms to the RS-3 requirements and better fits the character of the neighborhood.

On behalf of my Mom, who is owner of a house two doors down from the proposed project, she (and I) are opposed to the proposed rezoning change as it will affect not only the property taxes but it is too high density for the neighborhood. Our quiet little neighborhood does not need to become like Wrigleyville or other higher density neighborhoods nor do we need the increase in noise or traffic issues.

I am totally opposed to this zoning change especially as it will affect property taxes. Please do not approve this!

Our alderman should listen to the voices in his community and not allow for the zone change to take place. There is already a lack of parking and more traffic , this change will effect the neighborhood not in a positive way.

Sell the property as it is currently zoned. It’s got great character and fits the look of Bowmanville. If you want to see what our neighborhood could become, just take a drive into Wrigleyville. This high density proposed project will spur other developers to think they can do whatever they want in the future, just with a zoning change. Keep our great neighborhood intact!

The proposed zoning change would allow SHARP increases in building size and population density for this block, straining resources & space and creating headache for those that live here. I'm in support of development that is permissible under the CURRENT (RS-3) zoning, but against any development that requires rezoning to RT-4.

This cannot happen! Protect the unique and desirable character of Bowmanville!
