Coach Cratty and Coach K,

We are all so sad when this was supposed to be a season that we were all looking forward to. A season that we knew was going to be our last time together before we went on to high school. That was a sad enough thought but at least we knew we had this last year. Now, it’s looking like we won’t even have that. We love and respect you both so much but this feels like we’re being asked to choose between mom and dad lacrosse and which parent we would have to go live with for our last year of middle school. Many of us have been together from the time that we first picked up a lacrosse stick and didn’t even know how to scoop. It’s because of you both and each of us encouraging, laughing, and having fun, that we have had this close bond of Bowie girls lacrosse that we know a lot of other teams don’t have. We’re special (Kaylin) because of our history, our friendships, and what you both have done for all of us. Please, if we promise to try our best to win the championships, “try” to hustle each and every practice and game, and not complain about sprints and laps, and to be good kids to you both, would you please stay together one more year…for us, the Bowie Juniors Lacrosse girls.
