The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is still ignoring the obvious benefits of this growing sport while they leave potential revenue on the table. I have been pushing their office for a real explanation regarding these outdated regulations and they have absolutely nothing to say for themselves. We are not backing down until they acknowledge that bowfishing deserves a seat at the table.

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and it proves that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department can no longer ignore the bowfishing community. They have sat on their hands for too long while our sport continues to grow and thrive across the state.

Been bowfishing in texas for years. We need to stop acting like it is some fringe activity. It is growing fast and brings in serious money.
Great way to get the gar out of the lakes. They eat all the bass anyway. Let us handle them.
my kids love going out on the boat with us. its good clean fun and keeps them off the ipads for a few hours.
Finally some recognition for bowfishing. It is a blast and way better than sitting on a pier all day doing nothing.
THESE FISH ARE A NUISANCE ANYWAY. LET US HUNT THEM AND STFU ABOUT IT.
