Each class of Ms. Bowers's Modern World History was assigned a different project on the Communist Manifesto. Our class was assigned a 10-page, single-spaced, 100-point paper on the meaning of the Communist Manifesto, due less than a week after it was assigned.

However, our class wholesomely decided that this project was not going to benefit our class, and chose not to do this assignment.This project that was supposed to represent how "extremely academic" we are. Dictionary. com defined academic as: learned or scholarly but not lacking in worldliness, common sense, or practicality. We decided that this assignment wold not show how academic we are, because in completing it, we would be showing our lack of common sense and practicality.

We realized that this would not work unless we united with our common goal of receiving the grade that we all deserve.

We hereby request that the grade of this assignment be replaced with a 100 for all students. Ms. Bowers asked us to show how academic we really are, and that is exactly what we did.
