This petition is asking you to help stop the building of the liquefied petroleum gas storage vessels within the city limits of Bowbells, ND. This proposed project is being taken by SunPrairie Grain which included construction of a new facility to recieve truck loads of liquefied petroleum gas into storage vessels for loading into tanker cars for bulk distribution. CHS is looking to put in fifteen 60,000 gallon tanks for a total storage capacity of 750,000 gallons. The facility would be used to load approximately 16 railcars per day, up to a maximum of 20. This petiton is also stating safety issues that will come with the building of these vessels within city limits. This petition is concerned for the community, people and school and how these liquefied petroleum gas vessels will affect them.
