For pupils and instructors living in the populated areas of Milford, Highcliffe, New Milton, Christchurch the addition mileage to get to poole and back is not viable. My average commute from a pupils house to poole Tc was 1:05mins - making even a 2hr lesson not viable. This is a HUGE and populated area to not be serviced and it’s not like we are in a rural part of the country! If Bournemouth doesn’t reopen PLEASE consider a satellite/part time area in Christchurch. The area has perfect route possibilities and would be a much needed, we’ll used service PLEASE! It’s no longer a job that is financially viable fir those of us logistically so far away from poole and Maybush

As a learner driver myself having to travel all the way to Poole on a driving lesson takes up to 45 minutes to get to Poole which means I have less time to practise driving

In my opinion Poole test centre is not coping with the amount of test coming through. On a busy day there is standing room only with Motorcycle tests HGV/ LGV tests and now a influx of Bournemouth provisional tests. I have sat on a very wet seat after a motorcyclist had also been sitting there previously. Not ideal for test candidates trying to keep clean and dry. Plus it is not convenient for pupils to spend extra time and money to travel to Poole to get a look at the complex junctions / roundabouts that they have never had cause to come to Poole so would be at a disadvantage to the locals.

It is essential to keep Bournemouth Test Centre open as Poole is too far for many learners and Poole is overwhelmed with traffic.
