Not officially announced yet, but it seems Goose Island Beer Company could release their Bourbon County Brand Stout (BCBS) in 16.9 ounce bottle this year. Since 2005 Goose Island has bottled their famous regular BCBS in 12 oz. bottles. This petition is an effort to show Anheuser-Busch InBev (parent company of Goose Island Beer Company) that the craft beer community is not thrilled about the bottle change after 10 years. After seeing almost no positive reviews on this bottle format change on various craft beer websites and social media outlets, I've decided to start this petition. I honestly don't expect AB-InBev to change their plans, if in so they are really planning for 16.9 oz bottles of regular BCBS, no matter how many signatures are collected. In the end, you can't make a change without at least trying, and what does it hurt to try. Hopefully, they have already changed their plans for 16.9 oz. bottles. Sign the petition if you want Bourbon County Brand Stout in a 12 oz 4 pack once again. Thank you for taking the time.

Please retain the 12oz bottle format for the regular BCBS. It allows for one person to consume a bottle in 1 sitting

Hello, I'm the beer manager at a liquor store in Elmhurst and my worst day of the year is the day Bourbon County comes out. Why you ask? Because there are more people looking for your beer than we have beer. If you move the format to 12 bottle cases of 22 oz bottles vs 24 pack 12 oz, it will decrease the bottles I have to sell in half, and it will result in more pissed off customers with nothing in their hands. Please don't play with the format for this fantastic beer!
