I'm living here 18.5 years and i think is was disgraceful that the builder was allowed to leave the boundary walls unfinished. The walls should have been finished along time ago. Now that we a paying property tax (which is supposed to be used in our local area) cant get more local then the boundary wall of our estate, maybe just maybe the council will get their finger out!

Plaster Foxborough Boundary Walls

I have tabled following motion for the September meeting of the Lucan Area Committee: "That this Area Committee commends the Foxborough Residents Group on their fantastic efforts in maintaining and enhancing the public realm of both Foxborough estate and of the main roads that pass through and close to the estate, including the painting of plastered boundary walls at Balgaddy Road; however noting the historic failure by this Council to ensure the plastering of boundary walls along the main road between the Grangecastle Road junction and Foxborough Road roundabout, this Area Committee now agrees to support the request by Foxborough residents to have these walls plastered; and therefore recommends that an appropriate sum be provided in the Councils’ budget for 2015, ring-fenced from within the public realm allocation for Lucan, to fund the plastering of these walls in Spring 2015."

If I had planning permission instructing me to finish the walls to a standard and I didn't, you'd come after me. Please honor your own committments.

The walls should be finished properly to the standard outlined in the original plans. This includes the walls backing onto the R136

The walls at the back of Foxborough Road backing onto the outer ring road should also be included in this, they are a disgrace.

It's galling to see that other estates in our area finished as were originally planned. All we want is equality for the residents of Foxborough.

Please help us to continue to improve our community be completing these walls. It is the least we deserve- to have Foxborough treated the same as other estates in our area.

This would make a huge difference to our area and would show commitment from SDCC to assist the great work being done by the residents in improving our area.

As part of the Foxborough Residents Group that work extremely hard every week improving our area through litter picks, painting projects, grass verge maintenance etc I wholeheartedly support this campaign. We have waited a long time for this.
