As passionate e-bike riders, we love the power and performance of Bosch e-bike systems. But we're frustrated by the lack of compatibility with other popular cycling computers, like Garmin. This limits our ability to track our rides, analyze our performance, and personalize our experience.
Here's the problem: Bosch currently restricts data access to their own proprietary system. This means we're forced to use their limited computer, even if we prefer the features and functionality of other brands.
This is unfair and unnecessary. We deserve the freedom to choose the cycling computer that best suits our needs.

Owner of canyon neuron on:fly, would like all status data for e-bike to be viewable/recordable from garmin edge 530/540
Love the Bosch motor in my Pivot Shuttle AM. I was sure disappointed when I tried to pair with my Garmin Edge 840. I thought I was doing something wrong. Can this be corrected with software update?
Just moved over from a Spesh e-bike and just assumed connectivity wouldn’t be a problem. Pretty shocked to learn that Bosch lock this down. Really disappointed in this shortcoming for the Bosch system
I've been using Garmin for over 10 years. The data in it is important to me. If I had known that the Bosch Smart system didn't talk to Garmin, I wouldn't have bought a bike with a Bosch motor. If the systems don't connect, this will be my last bike with this motor. Too bad, it's really great. Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 Bosch SX.
Please! Garmin needs power readings to measure training readiness. For platform pedals and ISIS cranks BES3 uses there's no way to attach a power meter. And my bike already as one and streams readings. Just not in the format thats public.
Thought this was a given in 2025. Thinking about returning the bike

Locking "my data" into the Bosch universe instead of letting me choose how to deal with it is a barrier for purchasing any bike with Bosch motor. Use open protocols and respect your customers' choice.
