Move West Ham to the Olympic Stadium
West Ham Utd currently have a once in a lifetime opportunity to move to a ground that will offer opportunities for growth that are beyond what's possible while we stay at Upton Park. I don't think any of us want to leave for the sake of leaving. We all have our memories, although for most of us, the places where a lot of those memories came from are long gone; the north bank, south bank, west-side and chicken run terrace. What the Olympic stadium will give us is a brand new ground with the best transport links of any ground in the country. The bonus is that we can stay true to our roots by moving there. The Olympic stadium is in the old Borough of West Ham, a few hundred yards from West Ham town hall. The move won't be unprecedented either. We started at Hermit Road, moved to the Memorials before settling at the Boleyn. There's plenty of opportunities to show you disagree with the move, so if you agree with it, here's your chance to say so. Irons.
