The European Union (EU) has been asked to set up an EU-wide border alert system for abducted children. Despite recent cases of children going missing in the EU the present EU-wide hot line for missing children has yet to be implemented. We need the hotline activated immediately and implementation of an amber alert system throughout the European Union similar to the effective amber alert system in America.
