This petition is to show Kevin A. Carroll, Vice Chancellor of Marketing & Communications, Chancellor Coombe, and all of the Undergraduate Student Government that the majority of students do NOT support a change in mascot, and want Denver Boone as the Official School Mascot to represent the student body. The majority of students and student athletes like Boone and do not find him racist or offensive in any way, shape, or form. Only a handful of students who don't even attend sporting events dislike Boone. Why should they get to decide who our mascot is? Many minorities LOVE Boone, but the administration is unaware of this. Sign this petition if you are in favor of keeping Denver Boone the mascot of DU.
