Petition to Help Turner Fenton Start an annual ‘The Need to Read Club’ 1 in 7 children are growing up in poverty in Canada, and there is a direct link between poverty and illiteracy. These children will not get the luxury of new, shiny books that we get, so we want to help them by collecting books and donating them to a place where these families in poverty can get them for free (library) or for less (donation centre). We plan for this club to promote awareness to the issue.
