For over a decade, WWE has put on special shows as a thank you to the military serving and have served whether at home or at abroad. Originally called Christmas from Baghdad, the show has been since renamed Tribute to the Troops. An idea brought to Vince McMahon by John Layfield, known in WWE as JBL, airing around Christmas every year since 2003, the special event has produced more than a few memorable moments, and while it has not officially been announced for this year, there is no doubt about it not happening as it does happen every single year. Big names such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, and even The Undertaker have appeared on Tribute to the Troops. But never has Brock Lesnar been a part of the show. Who exactly is Brock Lesnar?.. Brock Lesnar is a once in a lifetime athlete, who has been the most dominant and destructive force in any combat sport he's taken part in since he was five years old. Growing up on a dairy farm run by the family in Webster, South Dakota, Lesnar was a standout amateur wrestler and football player in his youth years, eventually deciding to fully commit to wrestling, where he went to the University of Minnesota, and won the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship, who then went on to WWE, and rocketed to the WWE Championship in five months, defeating The Rock. Brock then remained in WWE until March 2004, where he then went to try out for the Minnesota Vikings, but got cut in the end. Lesnar then went to New Japan Pro Wrestling and dominated there, then moving on to UFC, where in his third UFC fight, became UFC Heavyweight Champion. But diverticulitis would eventually cause Lesnar to retire from UFC. Four months after his UFC retirement, Lesnar returned to WWE, where he was once again the dominant, destructive force he was when he was first in WWE. This makes him the most accomplished athlete in the history of all of professional wrestling. And wherever Tribute to the Troops takes place this year, I know that this show has quickly become a big deal for WWE, and the attending troops and their families deserve to be in the presence of a once in a lifetime attraction and athlete, Brock Lesnar because for some troops, seeing WWE could only be once in a lifetime for them, which is another reason I believe that wherever Tribute to the Troops is this year, Lesnar should be there and the troops there deserve to see him.

So WWE, please book Brock Lesnar for this year's WWE Tribute to the Troops.

Sincerely,

Corey Neal, related to a soldier Sean Neal, a WWE fan who was killed while serving in Baghdad almost a year ago, whose favorite wrestler was Brock Lesnar.
