I agree with the sanctuary, however I think the damn and the rapids directly below it should be protected to be specific. They should tie a rope across the creek where the rapids join up again, similar to Big Creek’s Kiwanis damn in Delhi. This should leave the most vulnerable and richest spawning beds safe from getting trampled. There are other creeks open until the end of the year and populations are stable. However, I don’t agree with anglers in waders stomping all over the beds.

I do not fish the creeks myself but I do fish in Lake Erie for Rainbows and hate to see anything happen to the great fishery we have out in the open water

This is just common sense, wonder which Ministry will stand in the way this time...... while you're at it, just who is going to put their name on approval the Walker landfill people are requesting on the banks of the Thames.
