Bob W. Hargis desires to be on the ballot as a 2008 Independent Presidential candidate in every state. Ballot access laws are unfair to independents and minor party candidates. The ballot access system has been so designed as to practically eliminate independents from having a reasonable chance to be included in the ballots of most states. Due to the complex state by state filing requirements and fees, and the unrealistic signature requirements, even the best funded candidate will likely fail to accomplish the goal of being on all of the ballots. Overcoming these odds will require the help of an organization whose intent is to support an independent candidate with a network of nationwide volunteers.
