I played for Coach Bob MacDougall in 1989-90 and also completed my Associates Degree from COD and went on to EIU on a football scholarship. I NEVER would have had that opportunity to continue my education and athletic career if it wasnt for Coach MacDougall and his staff of other amazing coaches and leaders. Bob was an amazing, caring, supportive inspirational leader and mentor who prioritized success in the class room for his student athletes and supported their path to an opportunity for a 4 year college degree through the avenue of a football scholarship. Coach MacDougall in my opinion is the stellar example and should be the standard for what type of values and character an individual has to have to be considered for the COD Hall of Fame and I know thousands of other players feel the same way about his impact on their lives.

I was fortunate to play for Coach Mac and COD in 81 and 82. Based on the success of the teams he led, I was able to earn a scholarship to NIU. I only say that to share that I've played for many coaches.
There is no question that Coach Mac is a Hall of Fame coach. Coach Mac was professional, kind, and successful and got so many young men, on a better path.

I coached in the NJCAA at Coffeyville CC on Ks while Coach Macdougall was the HC at Dupage. He was one of the most respected coaches in all of Junior College football. i strongly ask you to put Coach in your HOF. Sincerely Skip Foster

In 1976 my first year at COD while registering for classes in modular building West side of Lambert Road, Coach MacDougal came out of his office to help me. Very nice man, great coach. Happy to sign for him.
