I once thought of you as a friend, I believed in your thoughts,wisdom and beliefs for this union, you were the best for the position and most of all I trusted you. Is this how you treat friends? Now I feel you can not be trusted and do not have the outlook you once had to lead this union.
Your actions seem very self driven and lack any reasonable benefits to leave ATU. Along with how you did it.

3. Making a move toward something so monumental as leaving the organization without formal discussion or resolution with the executive board and/or membership.

Trust is a valuable thing and is very hard to earn. It doesn't stop once you have it; it must always be protected and validated. You cannot lead properly in a democracy without it. Legitimate leaders are not self serving, they communicate with their people openly, they check their pride at the door and ignore personal vendettas in favour of the greater good. It's time for us to have proper leadership. Please resign without hurting us any further. Politics is an ugly game and you just lost.
