I have been working with Dr. Zuker for more than 20 years at the HSC - Multidisciplinary Urogenital clinic. He has been always respectful to all his patients and families, has been dedicated to them and supported and help them in any decison they have made. He is a known leader in the field of human sexuality and a great teacher to generations of physicians, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists. Accusing him of "substandard professional practice" question the integrity and knowledge of the accusers.

The available evidence indicates this action was a result of political pressure. Open discussion and inquiry by qualified experts in the field did not occur. Hence I consider the action taken against Ken Zucker unfair and unjustified.

We are complaining of scientific thinking being stifled by governments but special interest activists are just as effective. In this particular case, these people are well-meaning but they only have themselves and each other to base their beliefs on and lack the perspective of a health professional who has seen all cases, not only the ones that have gone on to adulthood.

As a former intern in the Gender Identity Clinic at the Clarke Institute, I feel the closure of the clinic and removal of Dr. Zucker is totally unjustified.

Transactivists have gone too far and have not looked at all the facts thereby shutting down a clinic purely with a differing opinion.

Please allow Dr. Zucker to help minors attain their goal of wanting to be their biological gender in the way they act and think.
